Defining Topographic Surveys

Another type of survey we cover here at Fox Surveying is Topographic surveys. This survey will measure any elevations that are on the land. When we do these surveys, one of the first things we do is locate any natural or man-made features that are associated with the land.

Phone Line Polls

Walk Ways

What Are These Surveys Used For?

These surveys can be used for a variety of things. For starters, they can be used to help create maps used for geology studies. They may also be used by an architect if they've got a design they're working on, an engineer to determine any changes that may need to be made to a certain plot, or even government agencies. Government agencies may use these surveys for construction and zoning purposes, to ensure that everything is up to code.
